Yen Bai takes prompt actions against COVID-19

YBO - Amidst the complex developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Yen Bai province issued Document No. 832, asking local departments, agencies, steering board for COVID-19 prevention and control in Yen Bai city, districts and towns, organisations, enterprises, and production and business facilities in the locality to take urgent measures against the epidemic.

The province has ordered the serious observance of social distancing rules within 15 days as from 0:00 on April 1. On the first day of social distancing, local residents, socio-political organisations, enterprises and production and business facilities in the province seriously followed the instructions. 

Earlier, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism was asked to coordinate with the Health Department and police force to encourage enterprises and accommodations in the locality to turn themselves into quarantine areas for health workers and other COVID-19 fighters when necessary./.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Huy Tuan personally presented support and gifts to workers facing hardships across Yen Bai Province.

Luc Yen District presents the provincial decision recognizing Dong Quan Commune as meeting NTM standards for 2024.

Luc Yen District has recently have two additional communes, Dong Quan and Khanh Hoa, officially recognized by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee as meeting the criteria for new rural standards (Nông Thôn Mới - NTM) in 2024.
