Yen Bai: Organisations, individuals support COVID-19 prevention efforts

YBO - Many organisations and individuals in the northern province of Yen Bai have raised money to support those seriously affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, in response to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.

Particularly, children as young as 8-12 years used their savings, while elderly over 100 years of age and wounded soldiers spent their monthly allowances to support the fight.

From March 17 to April 1, the provincial Fatherland Front Central Committee received funds worth over 1.2 billion VND from 52 collectives and individuals to support poor people and revolutionary contributors.
