With a range of comprehensive solutions, Yen Bai is enhancing its appeal to attract investors in the tourism sector.

The province has accelerated administrative reform, improved its investment environment, and issued preferential policies and a list of projects seeking investment, including five projects in the fields of commerce, tourism, and services. At the same time, Yen Bai has prioritized the completion of key transportation infrastructure projects to support socio-economic and tourism development.

During the 2021–2025 period, the province has prioritized the implementation of 26 major projects with a total capital of over VND 13,426 billion, including 17 transportation infrastructure projects with an estimated total investment of about VND 9,950 billion. As a result, inter-regional connectivity has improved significantly, enabling the creation of new tourism routes, particularly linking with Lao Cai, Ha Giang, Son La, and Tuyen Quang. Major transportation routes are gradually being completed, facilitating the development of new intra-provincial tourism products and enhancing connectivity with Hanoi, the Noi Bai–Lao Cai Expressway, and southern provinces via Noi Bai International Airport.

Thanks to these synchronized and effective solutions, the number of small and medium-sized tourism projects has increased markedly, particularly in the western tourism region, around Thac Ba Lake, and along the Chay River. Currently, the province has 26 tourism projects approved for investment, with a total registered capital of over VND 5,130 billion. Of these, 13 projects with total investment exceeding VND 1,409 billion have been approved since 2021.

Specifically, three projects were approved in 2021, one in 2022, four in 2023, and five in 2024. Several major domestic and international corporations and investors are actively conducting research, surveys, and implementing tourism projects in the province, including TH Group, Sungroup, APEC, and Flamingo Holding Group.
