Tram Tau aims to bring 1,260 labourers to work abroad by 2030

YBO - Tram Tau district of Yen Bai province is working to realise the target of sending 135-170 local labourers to work abroad each year from now to 2025. Specifically, the number of labourers sent to other countries for working is expected to reach 90 in 2023, 150 in 2024 and 170 in 2025.

The district will continue to increase the ratio of skilled workers to provide for foreign markets, especially high-income and stable countries with high requirements in professional capacity of workers.

In the 2023-2025 period, the district aims to send 410 workers to work in other countries, or 135 workers each year. The number is expected to increase to 850 in the 2026-2030 period, or 170 workers each year.

In the 2023-2030 period, Tram Tau will strive to send 1,260 labourers to other countries for working.

To this end, the district has assigned specific tasks to particular divisions and agencies, asking them to increase communications activities on the sending of labourers to work abroad in the new period.

At the same time, it has designed plans to train local labourers, enhancing its workforce quality and enhancing the supply of workers to foreign markets under contracts.

Meanwhile, the locality has implemented support policies and strengthened management, inspection and supervision over activities to send workers to work abroad, while ensuring financial sources for the work.
