In 2024, Yen Binh District exceeded its employment goals, training 3,148 workers in vocational skills, achieving 131.17% of the provincial target and 125.9% of the district's plan. The number of new jobs created reached 130.18% of the provincial target, or 100.27% of the district’s plan. The rate of workers receiving vocational training reached 126.14% of the provincial target and 105.7% of the district's target, showing a 5.7% increase compared to 2023.
To showcase, promote, and connect the distribution of its signature products, Yen Bai Province has implemented various digital technology solutions in production and distribution processes. These efforts aim to improve the quality, efficiency, and competitiveness of local products while advertising and introducing agricultural products, OCOP items, and regional specialties on e-commerce platforms, contributing to the development of the province’s digital economy.
Yen Bai Province currently operates 20 points for the introduction and sale of OCOP (One Commune, One Product) items, showcasing 260 certified OCOP products rated three stars or higher. YBO - The total capital of the Farmers’ Support Fund (HTND) in Yen Bai Province has reached nearly VND 38 billion. Of this, over VND 7 billion comes from funds entrusted by the Vietnam Farmers' Union, while provincial and district-level funds account for over VND 30 billion. Currently, these funds are providing loans to 760 farmer households for production and business development.
YBO - The People’s Committee of Tran Yen District recently coordinated efforts to provide consultation and support for workers seeking employment abroad under contractual agreements. In 2024, a total of 95 individuals from the district registered for long-term labor export to international markets.
