Na Hau mountainous commune to kick off summer tourism programme

YBO - The mountainous commune of Na Hau in Van Yen district, Yen Bai province will kick off its summer tourism programme 2023 on the occasion of the April 30-May Day holidays with a range of activities featuring the culture of the Mong ethnic group.

It will be the first locality in Van Yen to launch summer tourism activities.

At the launching ceremony, locals and visitors are expected to learn about the land and people of Na Hau, as well as tourism potential and advantages of the commune where 99% of its population belong to the Mong group.

Na Hau will also organise many cultural, art and sport activities, folk games, and trekking in the Na Hau nature reserve.

Highlights of the ceremony will be a traditional market and an exhibition introducing specialties of Mong people like snail, fish, tea and rice, along with art performances by the group.

Notably, tourists can enjoy the majestic beauty of caves, waterfalls and pristine forests in the nature reserve, with many rare species of fauna and flora./.
