In recent years, the team of young officials and civil servants has made significant contributions to the fight against poverty and has played an active role in the socio-economic development of the province and the country.
During the period of 2022-2024, the Young Intellectuals Club of Yen Bai Province has proactively collaborated to organize effective activities for propaganda, education, knowledge dissemination, scientific and technical transfer, and the application of information technology for its members. The club has implemented and directed all 14 affiliated sub-unions to conduct specialized meetings focused on studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh, linking these themes to specific annual topics and the commemoration of significant holidays of the province and the nation.
Members of the club have consistently participated in activities organized by the Youth Union and the Youth Association. They have coordinated efforts to visit, donate gifts, and assist poor households, families with policy status, disadvantaged youth, and students in difficult circumstances. Additionally, they have actively registered for voluntary blood donation, provided free medical check-ups and medications, organized volunteer activities for environmental protection, and initiated volunteer campaigns to enhance digital literacy among the local population.
In particular, the force of young intellectuals has become a pioneering group in researching and applying science and information technology to administrative reform and socio-economic development across various sectors. This has led to the emergence of numerous exemplary young intellectuals with innovative ideas, significantly contributing to the completion of the professional tasks of their agencies, units, and localities.
During the meeting, the young intellectuals discussed and contributed several opinions on topics such as: the participation of young intellectuals in the socio-economic development of ethnic minority regions; the role of young intellectuals in building modern and civilized urban areas; solutions to promote creative activities among youth, students, and pupils; and suggestions from young intellectuals to enhance the effectiveness of youth-led tourism models.
