Digitizing the electronic household registration database will shorten the time for residents to complete administrative procedures.

Recently, districts, towns, and cities have launched a peak emulation movement titled "Accelerating the Progress of Completing the Household Registration Data Digitization Plan." Many local People's Committees have arranged and mobilized personnel to support local civil servants in charge of justice and household registration to complete the digitization of household registration data in their areas.

Once the household registration database is fully digitized, in addition to sharing and updating information for the national population database, it will provide data for registration agencies to consult and access, facilitating residents in accessing their personal household registration data and completing online household registration procedures.

It is known that the digitization of household registration books involves collecting, classifying, photographing, and creating household registration data from physical registers to update the Information System for Household Registration and Management, which serves the construction and improvement of the national electronic household registration database.
