YBO - Yen Bai has six teachers honoured as “outstanding teacher” among the 1,031 under Decision 1582/QD-CTN dated December 25, 2023 by President Vo Van Thuong.

Local teachers with outstanding achievements in the 2022-2023 school year awarded at a ceremony.

These teachers have good morality, enthusiasm, and dedication to their profession. They are exemplary, typical, and excellent teachers with widespread influence in the education sector and society.

They have always been at the forefront of innovating educational management, and teaching, testing and evaluation methods.

The following is a list of Yen Bai honourees:

Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa - provincial Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities.

Nguyen Thi Oanh - Tran Nhat Duat High School in Yen Binh district

Nguyen Thi Nhung - Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted in Yen Bai city

Nguyen Thi Thu Hang - Hoang Quoc Viet High School, in Yen Bai city

Duong Thi Ban Mai - Kim Dong Primary School in Yen Binh district

Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh - vice-rector of Mu Cang Chai Boarding High School and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities in Mu Cang Chai district.

Green fence movement thrives in Luc Yen

Residents of Khanh Thien commune participate in planting green fences in the courtyard of Tong Ang community house.

The "green fence" movement in Luc Yen commenced in 2018. Recognising the environmental impact and high costs associated with using materials such as concrete and bricks for fences, some public personnel suggested the adoption of greenery instead.

The 11th Phu Dong Sports Festival of Yen Bai province from January 20-25 attracted over 1,500 athletes representing nine education and training departments and 28 units under the provincial Department of Education and Training.

The “Trade Union Tet Market” programme 2024 is being held nationwide via e-commerce platforms by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL) from January 15 to February 7. It is among activities aimed at ensuring a merry Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday for all trade union members and workers.

Yen Bai youth develop 20 models of happy youth unions

At the ceremony to launch the model of the happy youth union at the Yen Bai province’s Centre for Social Work and Social Protection.

Youth unions at all levels in the northern province of Yen Bai established 20 models of happy youth unions in 2023, doubling the planned number.
