Launched in May 2023, the contest received 78 startup idea and project entries. After the qualifying and final rounds, the 10 best entries were shortlisted for the finale.

The Xuan Long Hoang tea project of the Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted won the first prize. Organisers also presented two second prizes, three third prizes, and four consolation prizes to other ideas and projects.

The competition has been held annually to encourage startup ideas, innovations, and creativity among young people; discover and nurture feasible ideas and projects so that they can be carried out in reality; and inspire the young’s aspirations for starting their careers and contributing to local economic development.

It also looks to encourage the young to think big and act bold to create quality products, provide opportunities for their production and business projects to seek investment, and also improve the quality of HCYU and VYF activities as well as the youth movement.
