Yen Bai province’s Public Sector Union commends outstanding collectives and individuals

YBO - Yen Bai province’s Public Sector Union has recently organised an art programme to welcome its seventh Congress and commend collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities in the 2017-2023 period.

Art performances, imbued with the ethnic groups’ identities and performed by lecturers and students of Yen Bai College’s Trade Union, praise the Party and late President Ho Chi Minh, as well as great contributions of the working class and trade unions.

On this occasion, the provincial Labour Federation presented the emulation flag in the labour movement and trade union activities in 2022 to the provincial Public Sector Union; and certificates of merit to five collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement of good labour and building a strong trade union in the 2017 – 2023 period. The provincial Public Sector Union awarded certificates of merit to five collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities, in the period.

This is an opportunity for union members, officials and public servants to exchange experiences in trade union activities, and promote emulation to maintain and develop cultural and artistic movements in grassroots trade unions.

In 2025, Yen Bai Province will continue to maintain and enhance the quality of education universalization across all 168 communes, wards, and townships. This includes ensuring universal preschool education for five-year-old children, sustaining level-3 universal primary education in all localities, and achieving level-1 and level-2 universal lower secondary education province-wide. Additionally, level-3 universal lower secondary education will be maintained in 115 out of 168 communes, wards, and townships.
