Yen Bai city hosts IELTS test for first time

YBO - The British Council coordinated with the Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted in Yen Bai province to organise the IELTS English language test from July 1 to 3. This was the first time an IELTS exam had been held in the city.

The exam attracted 50 students from Yen Bai city, who undertook listening, reading, writing, and speaking tests. The proctors were all from the British Council.

The organisation of the IELTS test in Yen Bai city aimed to meet students’ demand for taking part in the world’s most popular English proficiency test right in their locality.
