Centre helps raise students’ passion for English

  •  Tuesday, September 8, 2020

Located in Yen Ninh Street, Yen Bai city, the AD English centre has attracted more than 300 students of different ages since its inception one year ago.

The centre brings together experienced teachers, including two foreigners. It is running 19 classes, each with around 16 students, from 17:00 to 19:00 and from 19:00 to 21:00 every day.

Smaller classes have also been organised for those who are seeking IELTS, TOEFL and other English language certificates.

With new teaching methods like integrating songs and games into lessons, and organising outdoor activities around Yen Bai city, teachers here have helped students advance their English language skills.

Nguyen Ngoc Thao Vy, a fifth grader at Nguyen Trai Elementary School, who has studied in the centre for three months, said after joining a class in the centre, she has felt more confident as her English as well as passion for the language has been improved significantly.

The centre has helped to make English a second language of students in Yen Bai province.
