Yen Bai launches school health programme for 2021 – 2025

YBO - The People's Committee of Yen Bai province has issued Plan No.294/KH-UBND on the implementation of a school health programme in the locality in the 2021 – 2025 period.

The local authorities have paid special heed to the education, care, protection and health management of children and students in local education institutions at all levels.

The plan sets out specific targets related to the care, protection and management of students' health in schools; physical education and sports activities in schools; school meals, education on school health in schools; and application of information technology in caring, protecting and managing student’s health.

Attention will be paid to upgrading facilities and equipment in schools; improving the quality of human resources; renovating physical education and sports activities in schools; stepping up the application of information technology in management, administration, supervision, statistics and reporting; promoting communication and education and calling for social contributions; and performing policies and inter-sectoral coordination mechanisms.

In 2025, Yen Bai Province is prioritizing the implementation of labour export consulting activities, vocational training in combination with foreign language education, and support programs aimed at facilitating overseas employment for local workers.
