As a result, many cooperatives have boldly applied advanced technology in production and processing, providing various services to meet the needs of their members and the public. These services include supplying seeds, livestock, fertilizers, pesticides, and guaranteeing some of the farmers' product sales, along with post-harvest services and processing.

Notable examples include: Vietnam Cinnamon and Clove Cooperative, Hung Thanh Agricultural and Rural Development Cooperative (Tran Yen District); Khanh Thien Forestry and Fisheries Cooperative (Luc Yen District); General Service Cooperative Thien An (Yen Binh District); and Mu Cang Chai Organic Agricultural Cooperative (Mu Cang Chai District).

In particular, the production linkage and support for farmers in building agricultural value chains have been chosen by many cooperatives as a breakthrough step in their development strategies.

It is known that Yen Bai currently has 823 cooperatives with over 33,600 members. Among these, 460 cooperatives operate in the agricultural sector with over 7,400 members, accounting for 55.8%. The average revenue of agricultural cooperatives reaches 1.7 billion VND, with an average profit of 400 million VND. The average income for workers is around 4.5-5 million VND per month.

Along with cooperatives, the province also has 5,812 cooperative groups with over 29,000 members, with more than 50% operating in the fields of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries.
