Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Committee of Yen Bai Ha Duc Hai said the Standing Board of the provincial HCYU Committee has built an action programme on digital transformation, with one of the contents of the three revolutionary action movements and three other youth programmes, and defined it as one of the important tasks throughout the youth organisation's activities and youth movement in the 2021-2025 period.

A digital platform-based creative youth movement has been implemented in the locality, focusing on changing forms of communication and digitalising traditional educational programmes of youth organisations through youth projects, technology contests, and forums, in order to arouse national pride and love for the fatherland.

In 2022, in response to the National Digitalisation Day, a working group in charge of digital transformation and community digital transformation models were set up to support local residents in implementing non-cash payments, creating accounts on the national Public Service Portal, and installing and using the applications "Party Member Handbook”, and YenBai-S.

Communication activities have been strengthened through websites and social networks, creating positive effects.

The provincial HCYU has maintained two social network accounts. All the districts, townships and 90% of youth organisations set up official social network websites to popularise their activities.

Notably, through the professional management software for youth union members, 100% of youth establishments in the province have implemented identification registration for nearly 60,000 members.

The provincial HCYU Committee has actively cooperated with units in and outside the province to organise gift-giving programmes and training courses in remote and isolated areas, helping local residents access technology. Local residents have been also supported in introducing and selling 70 OCOP products on e-commerce platforms.

During the Youth Month 2023, the Standing Board of the provincial HCYU Committee has concretised activities of youth organisations at all levels, focusing on enhancing the operation of community digital transformation groups in guiding people to implement non-cash payments, and perform online public services.
