Yen Bai introduces OCOP products at Vietnam Expo 2023

YBO – The Department of Industry and Trade of Yen Bai province has coordinated with other agencies to organise booths at the 32nd Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2023) at the Hanoi International Exhibition Centre.

Accordingly, the province has two booths with 50 typical products, mainly key export staples and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products such as processed timber, cinnamon of all kinds, minerals, porcelain, Nasakicoloured tiles, bamboo shoots, plastic sheets, packaging and honey.

Vietnam Expo 2023 was held from April 5 to 8 with 600 booths of more than 500 businesses from 16 countries and territories. The booths have introduced national brands, exports, electronic products, machines, and other products in the fields of digital technology, e-commerce and food industry, among others.

It has attracted international visitors and the Vietnamese business community through information channels of ministries, departments, sectors, diplomatic agencies, domestic and foreign trade promotion organisations, and especially domestic industry associations. In addition to traditional promotional activities, the fair maintains B2B (business-to-business) trading connectivity on online platforms.

The units participating in the event are able to upload their information, images and videos on the digital platform and have direct interactions with visitors not only during the four days of the fair but also throughout the year./.
