Yen Bai city, provincial Department of Information and Communication top 2022 Digital Transformation Index rankings

YBO - YBO -Yen Bai city and the Department of Information and Communication of Yen Bai province topped the Digital Transformation Index (DTI) rankings 2022 in the locality which has been announced recently.

This year marks the first time Yen Bai has evaluated the DTI for departments, sectors, the district-level People’s Committees and the city in the locality.

The department-level DTI is evaluated based on seven main indexes and 43 component ones, while the district-level DTI is assessed on the basis of eight main indicators and 75 component indexes.

After a year's implementation, based on the self-assessment results of departments, sectors, and the People’s Committees, the provincial Appraisal Council has agreed on the DTI rankings for 2022, which will be submitted to the provincial People's Committee for approval.

Accordingly, the provincial Department of Information and Communications ranked first among the departments and sectors in the locality, followed by the Office of the provincial People's Committee, and the provincial Department of Finance.

The group of Digital Infrastructure reports the highest completion rate with 100%, while the group that recorded the lowest rate is Digital Workforce with 45.73%.

Meanwhile, Yen Bai city tops the rankings among the localities in the province. It was followed by the districts of Van Yen and Yen Binh.

The group with the highest completion rate is Digital Awareness, reaching 93.33%. Meanwhile, Digital Society is the group recording the lowest rate with 54.83%.
