Yen Bai speeds up cultural and spiritual tourism project in Thac Ba lake

YBO- Representatives of Yen Binh district had a meeting with PSD GROUP JSC to discuss measures to accelerate the investment in "Yen Binh cultural, spiritual tourism and eco-resort” project in Thac Ba lake.

At the working session, the two sides exchanged ideas and the overall plan for implementing the project, which will cover an area of 1,000 ha in Vu Linh commune and part of Cao Bien mountain.

The two sides said they have paid special attention to proposing ideas to ensure the overall planning for developing the Thac Ba Lake National Tourist Area by 2040 as approved by the Prime Minister as well as regulations on the Law on Belief and Religion, and other relevant regulations.

Functional agencies and divisions of the district have been tasked with coordinating with PSD GROUP to set up a working group; developing a detailed scenario of the project in accordance with items and periods; and preparing other necessary procedures prescribed to soon complete the dossier and submit it to the provincial authorities for approval.

The district's authority has pledged to support and create the most favourable conditions for the investor to implement the project.

Yen Binh boasts great potential and strengths for tourism development, especially eco-tourism and community-based tourism associated with spiritual tourism.

Thanks to efforts to fully tap its potential, the district has attracted 62 investment projects or approved for investment with total registered capital of over 695.5 million USD, including 16 projects investing in trade, service and tourism.

Many leading corporations and enterprises in the country such as Alphanam Group, Sun Group, Flamingo, and Hai Phat, have chosen Thac Ba lake area as an important location for investment research.

If it is implemented, the "Yen Binh cultural, spiritual tourism and eco-resort” project will be the first large-scale spiritual cultural tourism project in Yen Binh district.
