The JALA Group JSC is a major business running more than 300 hospitals and rest homes in Japan. It now has great demand for nurses. Over the past years, it has coordinated with the Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy and the Phu Tho Medical College to train students and send 50 graduates to work in Japan. More than 200 students are enrolling in cooperative training programmes and will work at the group’s hospitals and rest homes in the time ahead.

A representative of JALA said the firm hopes to recruit Yen Bai workers trained in nursing, noting that it will assist with providing training in the Japanese language.

After the training period in Vietnam, students will be sent to Japan to undergo internship at the group’s hospitals to access cutting-edge technologies and equipment of Japan and then return to Vietnam to finish their learning programmes. After that, they will be helped to come to work at hospitals and rest homes of JALA. Workers will not have to pay for any expenses, except for flight tickets and visa application fees as regulated by the State.

Nurses working for JALA’s general hospitals can earn 900 million - 1.8 billion VND (38,100 - 76,300 USD) each year and for rest homes about 600 million VND, according to the Japanese company.

Talking about the labour demand in Germany and preeminent features of the European country’s education, the BLA Education Group JSC said it hopes to assist students and labourers of Yen Bai to receive training and work in Germany.

At the meeting, Tuan described these as good opportunities and conditions for workers and students of Yen Bai, saying the working session was the start of the two colleges’ discussion with the two businesses to make detailed coordination plans to carry out vocational training in line with the firms’ demand.

He pledged favourable conditions for the two colleges to coordinate in sending high-quality and trained manpower of Yen Bai to work for the JALA Group JSC of Japan and in Germany.
