Yen Bai establishes PhuThinh 3 industrial cluster

OYB - The People’s Committee of the northern province of Yen Bai on November 27 issued Decision No. 2220 on establishing PhuThinh 3 industrial cluster in Yen Binh district with an area of 75 ha.

PhuThinh 3 industrial cluster is headquartered in the Southern Industrial Park in Van Phu commune, Yen Bai city.

The industrial cluster is located on the left side of National Highway 2D from the headquarters of the PhuThinh communal People's Committee to Van Phu Bridge.

The cluster’s technical infrastructure is invested by the EUP Industry joint Stock Company.
Once completed, the cluster is expected to attract enterprises that operate in industries like mineral processing; agricultural, forestry and fishery processing; high-tech industries; building materials; plastic products; production of aluminum products, chemical products; mechanical manufacturing, supporting industries, and electronics.

The PhuThinh 3 industrial cluster project has a total investment of 550.36 billion VND (22.7 million USD). The project's lifespan is 50 years.

Luc Yen District has recently have two additional communes, Dong Quan and Khanh Hoa, officially recognized by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee as meeting the criteria for new rural standards (Nông Thôn Mới - NTM) in 2024.
