India, Yen Bai step up mining cooperation

YBO - YBO- India and Yen Bai province boast huge potential to boost cooperation in mineral exploitation and processing, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy Subhash P. Gupta said on November 7.

At a working session with the provincial People’s Committee, the Indian diplomat highlighted Indian enterprises hold technology strengths while Yen Bai province is endowed with abundant mineral resources, including many rare ones that can be used as materials for the semiconductor industry. 

For his part, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ngo HanhPhuc said that the province has fully carried out its planning and policies to branch out local mining industry. 

Yen Bai welcomes Indian businesses who come to study local investment climate and mining industry, and commit to effectively exploiting the natural resources without affecting the environment. 

He expressed his hope that Indian firms will make meticulous research and survey before both sides discussed cooperation in details./.

Luc Yen District presents the provincial decision recognizing Dong Quan Commune as meeting NTM standards for 2024.

Luc Yen District has recently have two additional communes, Dong Quan and Khanh Hoa, officially recognized by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee as meeting the criteria for new rural standards (Nông Thôn Mới - NTM) in 2024.
