Notably in the Party cell of the provincial Women’s Union, 79 people were honoured. The Party cell upheld brainpower, creativity and adopted measures to fulfill assigned tasks. All Party groups, mass organisations, officials and Party members applied for the drive.

A number of initiatives brought high efficiency and were multiplied among women’s unions at all levels. In the five years, one initiative was recognised at the provincial level and 75 others at the grassroots level.

In Mu Cang Chai, Khang Thi La, head of the women’s chapter in Hua Khat village, Nam Khat commune, set an example in movements, especially those regarding environmental hygiene.

In the highland region, attention is paid to environmental hygiene. Therefore, the chapter raised awareness of its members and women about clean living, especially using toilets, collecting garbage, and cleaning village roads and alleys, La said.

So far, the chapter has still maintained a women-managed road and keep it clean and green. They also planted peach blossom trees along the village's roads and actively joined new rural development by specific actions.

In compliance with the Poliburo's Decree No. 05 on promoting the studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle, all-level chapters of the provincial Women’s Union built 195 collective and individual models in various areas.

Thereby, many movements and drives were promoted such as the movement "Women actively study, work, build happy families", "Women do good business", or "Women practise  thrift and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings” with 5,000 VND per person each month to offer loans to members for economic development.

At a conference to honour outstanding examples on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s visit to Yen Bai held by the provincial Party Committee in 2018, 30 female secretaries of Party cells at the grassroots level, four collectives and four women were honoured for studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle.
