Tran Yen strives to raise happiness index to 67 percent

YBO - The index of happiness among the residents in Tran Yen district of Yen Bai province reached 65.68 percent in 2021, a survey showed.

In particular, the rate of people satisfied with their life stood at 45.59 percent, that with the average life expectancy at 60.73 percent – the highest at the time the survey was conducted among the people aged 70 - 75, and that with the living environment at 42.15 percent.

People’s feedback about their satisfaction of the life, living environment, and average life expectancy is important as it will help the district have more basis to perfect policies and plans so as to improve people’s material and spiritual life, thereby helping raise the happiness index.

For 2022, Tran Yen has worked out some measures to increase the happiness index to 67 percent.
