Yen Bai applies technology to caring for COVID-19 patients at home

YBO - The Departments of Health and Information and Communications of Yen Bai province, in cooperation with FPT Information System Co., Ltd, have developed a portal to support and provide health consultations to COVID-19 patients treated at home and medical facilities.

All units of the provincial communication sector have also begun using a COVID-19 patient healthcare software from 0:00' of March 1, 2022.

Dang Van Thang, Vice Director of the provincial Department of Health, said the software to manage and support F0 cases treated at home has proven effective, bringing practical benefits for the community and the health sector.

By using the application, COVID-19 patients have had access to healthcare and treatment services and medical consultation.

The software has also helped medical facilities perform treatment quickly, provided timely information and data for management agencies, and contributed to reducing the overload at medical facilities.

People can easily register and use this software on smartphones or computers with Internet connection by accessing the website https://chamsocsuckhoe.yenbai.gov.vn.

Nguyen Quoc Chien, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Information and Communications, said along with popularising the application of the portal and, the sector has given specific instructions on how to use the health declaration application for F0 cases treated at home via appropriate forms, contributing to minimising the risk of infection in the community, and improving the efficiency of patient supervision and management.

According to Nguy Quoc Tuan in Minh Tan ward, Yen Bai city, the software has provided him with useful information on COVID-19 and instructions for treatment at home.
