YBO - Peach blossoms are in bloom as a herald of spring. The new season promises joy and passion in Yen Bai.

The Year of the Buffalo is about to pass by, seeing determination and efforts made to surmount difficulties in the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. Yen Bai constituents cast their votes to elect deputies to the 15th National Assembly and the People’s Council at all levels.

The great start strengthened Yen Bai’s will in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, thereby fulfilling the ‘dual targets’ as it secured high rankings in terms of socio-economic development among localities in the northern midlands and mountainous region.

The province obtained achievements shown via modern and civilised streets, new roads linking expressways and mountain paths, bridges, and rural villages full of flowers.

Terraced rice fields were recognised as a special national heritage site and the art of Xoe Thai dance went global for being listed as the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Local residents enjoy peace and happiness.

With pride, trust and affection, Yen Bai people welcome the coming Year of the Tiger with numerous wishes and passions, celebrating the 92nd founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam. This year serves as a cornerstone for the implementation of the Resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress and the 29th Congress of the provincial Party Committee.

With a motto of ‘Dynamic, innovative, vigorous, disciplined, swift and effective’, each official, Party member and citizen will uphold solidarity, self-reliance and passion for growth; and exert efforts to surmount difficulties so as to realise new year’s resolutions of investment attraction and digital transformation in line with the building of smart cities and e-government, as well as promote the image of local people as ‘friendly, humane, united, innovative and stand ready for integration’ for the development, innovation and prosperity of a ‘green, harmonious and delightful’ Yen Bai.

The profound happiness found the northwestern region dyed in the colour of ‘to day’ flower during spring makes people feel motivated and hopeful.

Spring arrives with trust and happiness in the future!
