The studious tradition of the Vu family in Nghia Lo town

YBO - The Vu family in Nghia Lo town has 37 households with 118 people. Of them, there are 37 Party members, 35 have university or college degrees and one person has a master's degree.

Vu Dinh Xuat, head of the Vu family in Nghia Lo town said: "Based on the family conventions, the family’s Board for Promotion Education regularly monitors the learning in each family and its members. It also has an incentive to encourage, reward and offer timely support members and descendants of the family who have achievements or have difficulties in the study as well as in life”.

Responding to the movement of building "learning society", "learning family", "learning family" launched by the associations for study promotion at all levels, the Vu Family Board for Study Promotion has actively promoted dissemination to all families and family members about the purpose and content of the movement, the necessity to learn as well as the responsibilities and obligations of all members for learning.

Every year, all families in the clan are registered as "study families" and received the title with 95 points or more at the year-end.

Vu Linh Chi, a member of the Vu family shared: "Education is the most important thing, so I always uphold the sense of self-discipline in learning. From the first to the twelfth grade, we are all excellent students. Every time I am recognized as an outstanding student, I am rewarded by my family. Although the reward is not big, I am very happy and this is the motivation to help me strive to study better to become a useful person for society."

Along with actively participating in movements and campaigns launched by the government at all levels and branches, the family members of the Vu family in Nghia Lo town also unite to help each other develop the economy. Up to now, the family has one business director, two managers of wood processing factories and 5 households that excel in developing business and service.

Hoang Thi Hong Hanh, Chairwoman of the town's Association for promoting education said: "Over the years, the Vu family has had many exciting activities and a rich experience. The family always pays attention to and focuses on doing well the promotion of learning and talent, contributing to enhancing the children's learning movement as well as the labour and production emulation movement of the members of the family with high efficiency, turning the family into a typical "studious family" of the commune, worthy of being an example for other families and clans to follow.
