Luc Yen district welcomes over 27,000 tourists in nine months

YBO - Luc Yen district of Yen Bai province served more than 27,000 holiday-makers, including 1,420 foreigners, in the first nine months of this year, and earned 16.2 billion VND from tourism revenue.

To facilitate local tourism development, the district’s bureau of culture and information has stepped up the management work and guided lodging facilities to observe the 2017 Tourism Law since the beginning of this year. 

It has also implemented procedures for the ranking of the accommodation establishments and coordinated with the tourism management office of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to inspect business conditions of seven facilities.

In the first quarter of 2025, Yen Binh District welcomed 94,789 visitors for sightseeing and experiential tourism. Among them, international arrivals reached 12,445, accounting for 31.1% of the provincial target and marking an increase of 14.9% compared to the same period in 2024.
