YBO - 2022 marked the year when the resolution adopted at the 13th National Party Congress started to be put into place, and Yen Bai fulfilled many targets set in its action programme thanks to solidarity and great efforts.

The locality was among the top three in the northern midland and mountainous region in terms of economic growth, the highest so far in the 2021-2026 tenure.

Digital transformation has brought changes to the lives of local residents and enabled Yen Bai to make big development strides. Transport infrastructure, regional connectivity and rural area building were bright spots seen in Yen Bai in the year.

The art of Xoe dance of the Thai ethnic people in Yen Bai has been recognised as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by the UNESCO, helping to attract more visitors to the province.

With determination, innovations and rules, the entire Party, army and people will surely sail through challenges, utilise opportunities, uphold internal forces, and drastically materialise socio-economic recovery and development programmes, laying a firm foundation to build a green, harmonious and happy province.

The solidarity will be carried forward to turn Yen Bai into the most developed locality among the mountainous provinces, and ensure peace and happiness for people.

In 2025, Yen Bai Province will continue to maintain and enhance the quality of education universalization across all 168 communes, wards, and townships. This includes ensuring universal preschool education for five-year-old children, sustaining level-3 universal primary education in all localities, and achieving level-1 and level-2 universal lower secondary education province-wide. Additionally, level-3 universal lower secondary education will be maintained in 115 out of 168 communes, wards, and townships.
