Luc Yen district yields over 10,000 tonnes of oranges annually

YBO - The total orange area of Luc Yen district, Yen Bai province, has surpassed 700 hectares, including about 600 hectares for harvest.

Concentrated areas are in Khanh Hoa, Muong Lai, Minh Xuan, and Yen Thang communes. 

Over the past time, local authorities and people have implemented a lot of measures to improve productivity and quality of this fruit.

Particularly, thanks to the application of safe production procedures according to the Vietnamese Good Agricultural Practices (VietGAP) and organic production, the orange output has been increasing.

In 2019, the district yielded over 10,000 tonnes of oranges.
