Hoang Lien Son Technical Ceramics JSC maintains production amid COVID-19

YBO - As COVID-19 is causing extreme difficulties to Hoang Lien Son Technical Ceramics JSC, its managers and workers have been strictly observing pandemic prevention rules set by the government and provincial authorities and regularly disinfecting its factories to safely maintain production.

Though the pandemic is adversely affecting the company's production, it has taken actions to better care for its workers, said Tran Duc Tuan, one of the team leaders. 
 
The company has ensured salaries and social security benefits as well as other welfare policies for its employees and provided them with free face masks and hand sanitizer daily, he added.

The firm's Trade Union, meanwhile, has played an active role in guaranteeing legitimate rights and interests of all workers. The average income of the employees exceeded 10 million VND per month.

Nguyen Thanh Ha, General Director of the Hoang Lien Son Technical Ceramics JSC, said that since the outset of the fourth COVID-19 wave, the company’s Trade Union has cooperated with its Board of Directors to undertake specific measures to ensure the safety of the workers, with the aim of preventing COVID-19 and sustaining production at the same time. 

All people entering the company are required to have their body temperature checked and use hand sanitizer. In addition to COVID-19 rules, the workers have also rigorously complied with occupational health and safety regulations. 

All kitchen staff were provided with training on virus control measures and have their health monitored regularly. They are also requested to wear masks and gloves at work.

Additionally, the company has adopted solutions to maintain the quality of its products despite the slowdown of the ceramics market this year due to the pandemic.

In the first half of 2021, the business earned 75.25 billon VND in revenue, up 39 percent year on year and representing 71.67 percent of the yearly plan. It contributed 5.1 billion VND to the State budget and paid a total of 2.2 billion VND in insurance premiums for the workers.
