Cinnamon trees are cultivated in most communes, forming a concentrated production zone with increasing area and quality.

The district has come up with a series of solutions to improve the cinnamon plantations, with communications campaigns launched to call on locals to improve their poor quality areas and cut down trees that are too old in a bid to turn the tree into a tool for sustainable poverty alleviation in the future.
