At the construction site of the Provincial Convention Center, engineers and workers are diligently working to complete structural components, roofing, and exterior walls. The atmosphere is filled with urgency and determination to ensure the project is operational in time for the 20th Provincial Party Congress, scheduled for September 2025.

In addition to the Provincial Convention Center Project, 14 key projects under the management of the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board for the 2021-2025 period are being expedited. The total investment for these 14 projects exceeds VND 5.954 trillion. Among them, five projects are in the transportation sector, one in technical infrastructure, three in civil construction, two in agriculture and rural development, and one in the fields of culture, sports, and information technology.

Additionally, the Board has been assigned as the investor for six projects aimed at urgently addressing the aftermath of Typhoon No. 3, which occurred in September 2024, with an estimated total investment of over VND 214.5 billion.

In recent times, the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board has regularly coordinated with consulting units to expedite investment preparation, implementation, and completion stages. Efforts have been made to overcome all difficulties, ensuring that projects are executed in accordance with contracts while maintaining construction quality and meeting set timelines.

Strict quality control has been applied at every stage of project management, adhering to construction investment procedures. Projects are implemented according to approved designs and technical standards, with thorough inspections and acceptance procedures before being put into operation to ensure required quality standards.

As a result, all completed projects have been handed over on schedule, meeting contractual commitments and receiving high praise from end-users and stakeholders. The project's appraisal, within the investor’s authority, has been conducted in accordance with technical standards and economic norms, ensuring cost-effective investment.

Alongside civil construction projects, the renovation and upgrading of the Tram Tau (Yen Bai) - Bac Yen (Son La) road has also been accelerated. This mountainous Grade V road spans approximately 16 km, with a total investment of VND 260 billion. The entire construction has now been completed, with Package No. 19 (urban road section) officially handed over to the Tram Tau District People’s Committee for management and operation on January 14, 2025.
