To analyze the reasons for the slow progress, localities and businesses have proposed various solutions to overcome difficulties and accelerate the certification process for forests.

This includes identifying the market for plantation wood products to select appropriate certification standards; coordinating with local authorities to expedite the investigation and review of the current state of forests for sustainable forest management certification; adding capable units and markets for product consumption to participate in sustainable forest management and FSC certification; enhancing the connection among smallholder families and guiding them to appoint representatives to carry out the necessary steps for FSC certification.

The leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development have urged districts and cities to direct specialized agencies and local governments to coordinate with businesses in implementing forest certification; strengthen partnerships and enhance communication and guidance on sustainable forest management and certification to households and individuals in the area.

At the same time, businesses are required to develop a work schedule for FSC certification to be carried out from now until December 25, in accordance with the commitments made with localities when participating in forest certification.
