Cooperatives, cooperative groups help connect technology supply and demand, trade promotion

The Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, in coordination with the People's Committee of Yen Bai province, organised a seminar on the application of information technology to support socio-economic development for cooperatives and cooperative groups in ethnic minority-inhabited and mountainous areas with the participation of representatives from Cooperative Alliances of 10 northern provinces.

At the event, experts and delegates discussed the current situation, the level of digital transformation in cooperatives, cooperative groups and members of ethnic minority areas as well as advantages and difficulties relating to specialised human resources for the implementation of digital transformation and IT infrastructure. The transformation ecosystem, which is not synchronous and not suitable for specific conditions and the capacity of cooperatives in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, was also touched upon.

Therefore, cooperatives and cooperative groups will help connect technology supply and demand and enhance trade promotion and digital transformation for members and people in ethnic minority-inhabited and mountainous areas in the coming time.
They will also promote collaboration and mobilisation of social resources through businesses to push up investment cooperation, improve production capacity, technology transfer and digital transformation, and select and unify the free digital transformation ecosystem.
