Over 1,400 children benefit from "Building brains for brighter futures" project

YBO - The project “Building brains for brighter futures" was carried out by the Division of Education and Training, and Health Centre with funding from Save the Children Hong Kong.

The project aims to help children from 0-3 years old reach their full potential with improved health and early stimulation.

After three years, it has provided assistance to 1,456 children under three and 1,275 caregivers in five communes, namely Dai Lich, Minh An, Tan Thinh, Thuong Bang La and Son Thinh town in Van Chan district through activities of caregiver clubs, home visits, and supporting the unlocking of the brain’s full potential.
More than 800 service providers and more than 170 community members have been trained on how to awaken brain potential and supplied with guiding documents on the matter.

Nine teams and 15 individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the project’s activities were honoured when the project was completed.

Signing ceremony for funding support to Nghia Tam Primary Schoo

The Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Association in Canada will provide financial support to enhance meal quality at Nghia Tam Primary School in Van Chan District, with a sponsorship of 200 million VND per school year over a period of five years (from the 2024-2025 school year to 2028-2029).

Deputy Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council, Hoang Thi Thanh Binh, along with leaders from the Yen Bai Youth Union, presented flowers and gifts to the 30 child members of the Provincial Children’s Council.

On the afternoon of November 9, the Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Council organized the first simulated session of the Provincial Children's People's Council at the Provincial People's Council Hall. The session was held with the participation of 30 children who are members of the Provincial Children’s Council and 50 outstanding youth representatives.
