Yen Bai leaders offer incense to President Ho Chi Minh

YBO - On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the National Day (September 2), a delegation of Yen Bai provincial Party Committee, authorities, Vietnam Fatherland Front and representatives of the masses led by Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the local NA deputies (15th tenure) delegation Do Duc Duy offered incense to President Ho Chi Minh at the national relic site within the local stadium, and paid tribute to war heroes and martyrs at the local cemetery.

Despite challenges in the past eight months, the provincial Party Committee, authorities and people upheld the spirit of solidarity and creativity to overcome difficulties and score important achievements,
Its economic growth hit over 7.57% while the State budget collection topped 2.9 trillion VND. A number of key projects and works have been completed and put into operation. Progress was seen in socio-cultural area while national defence-security was consolidated. The province also built a strong and transparent Party organisation and an effective, efficient and streamlined political system.

The delegation's wreath at the local Martyrs' Cemetery bore the words: "Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Bai province to heroic martyrs who sacrificed lives to national independence and freedom, for the happiness of the people”.

To the souls of the martyrs, the provincial Party Committee, authorities and people pledged to build on the past achievements, stay determined to overcome difficulties and challenges, accomplish the socio-economic development goals, ensure national defence-security, and strive to fulfill goals set in the Resolution adopted by the 19th provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 tenure, firstly the 2022 socio-economic development goals.
