Yen Bai helps ease difficulties confronting epidemic-hit firms

In Dispatch No 490/UBND-TH dated March 4, 2020, the People’s Committee of Yen Bai province assigned tasks for departments and sectors; leaders of districts, towns and cities; and relevant agencies to support local businesses in the face of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Those tasks include removing bottlenecks for firms, especially those in import – export activities and completing administrative procedures of investment projects, thereby contributing to the province’s economic growth.

Authorities also reviewed tax incentives and tax refund policies, launched credit support programmes and reduced debts or interests for firms affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Local agencies are asked to enhance support for firms as well as listen to their current obstacles and then report to the provincial People’s Committee, departments and sectors, in a broad effort to seek solutions for firms amid the outbreak.
