French-funded playzone for kids opens at Yen Bai city’s medical centre

YBO - Yen Bai city’s Friendship Association and the France-Vietnam Friendship Association have together inaugurated a playzone for kids at the local medical centre’s paediatrics division.

The project was funded by France’s Chevilly Larue city which has been supporting and cooperating with Yen Bai city, the capital of Yen Bai province, in various fields for years.

It aims to offer better care for local kids, especially those who are receiving treatment at the paediatricts division.

The 145sq.m playzone has a total investment of 370 million VND, including 253 million provided by the French city. It will be a spaceful playground to help reduce the children’s stress and anxiety and support their treatment.

The project is expected to motivate further cooperation between the two cities in the near future.

Nghia Lo Ethnic Minority Boarding Vocational School is among the most reputable vocational training institutions in the province.

In 2025, the province has set a target to create employment for 20,000 workers, with a trained labor rate reaching 70.2%. Of this, the proportion of workers receiving training for three months or longer and obtaining certificates or diplomas is expected to reach 40.1%.
