YBO - The Farmers' Association of the northern province of Yen Bai in coordination with agricultural enterprises has organized thousands of training courses in science and technology transfer. The idea is to guide farmers in the development of high-tech agricultural production models according to VietGAP standards of biosecurity, and organic production.

YBO - For the spring crop this year, Yen Bai planned to cultivate nearly 19,100 hectares of rice. As of March 10, rice had been planted on 19,425 hectares, surpassing the goal by 2 percent. Localities with planting areas exceeding their assigned plans are Tran Yen, Yen Binh, Luc Yen, and Van Yen districts and Yen Bai city.

As a major part of the country’s Socioeconomic Development Plan until 2025, Vietnam will beef up digital transformation in service of people and enterprises, with a big upcoming programme on assisting industrial businesses to pursue smart production development.

YBO - Thanks to many support programmes and policies, the farming of Vit bau, a specialty duck breed of Lam Thuong commune, Luc Yen district, has been expanded to many other localities across Yen Bai province.

YBO - Tran Yen district of Yen Bai province planned to plant more than 180 ha of “Bat do” bamboo shoots in 2022, mainly in the four communes of Luong Thinh, Hong Ca, Kien Thanh and Hung Khanh.
