YBO - Yen Bai province continued to enjoy a bumper Spring rice crop with production of nearly 5.6 tonnes per hectare and a rise of 128.46 tonnes in total output compared to the same crop last year, according to the provincial Department of Agricultural and Rural Development.

YBO - To date, 4,347.9 hectares of forests in Yen Bai province have been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and got the international sustainable forest management certificate in accordance with the Vietnam Forest Certification Scheme and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (VFCS/PEFC). Meanwhile, 6,757.8 hectares are waiting to get the FSC certificate.
