It also implements support policies effectively in line with Resolution 69 of the provincial People's Council in the 2021-2025 period. As a result, the commune now has nearly 700 heads of cattle and over 44,000 poultry of all types. There are a dozen of concentrated livestock farming models.

In 2021, Van Yen district has 253 animal raising facilities in the direction of producing organic specialty goods and three projects on chain production approved by the provincial People's Committee. It has the largest number of models registered for implementation of Resolution 69 of the provincial People's Council compared to other districts in the province.

To expand the livestock farming models, the district People's Committee assigned relevant agencies to support the building of husbandry models. Communication work to popularise the content of Resolution 69 to local residents has been enhanced. Households are guided in how to register their breeding plans to receive support in the purchase of breeding stock to ensure it comply with regulations specified in the resolution.

Last year, the district's total cattle herd reached nearly 128,000 heads almost 21% higher than the same period in 2020. The total output of live weight animals of all kinds hit nearly 13,700 tonnes in 2021, up 5,000 tonnes year-on-year.

Doan Van Thuy, Vice Chairman of Van Yen district People's Committee said this year it registers three new projects employing a value chain approach with total funding of 1.8 billion VND (77,370 USD).

Twenty-five communes and towns registered 279 organic breeding establishments with the total support budget approved by the provincial People's Committee for the first phase was 6.5 billion VND.

The supportive policies of Resolution 69 will open up opportunities for people to expand the scale of husbandry, contributing to economic development, improving people's living standards and speeding up the district's process to fulfil the criteria of new-style rural areas.
