It also supports farmers in accessing information technology applications and incorporating scientific advancements into production and business to help increase their income.

Along with this, the district has focused on developing industry and handicrafts, attracting investment into large-scale livestock farming, seafood processing, and poultry projects that use high technology, are environmentally friendly, and meet clean food standards. It has also prioritized tourism development linked with digital transformation and the effective implementation of social welfare policies in the area. As a result, the average income per capita in Van Yen District has reached over 57 million VND per person per year, with urban areas averaging over 73 million VND per person per year, and rural areas over 55 million VND per person per year.
