Efforts to boost investment
Recognising the limitations of the past, Yen Bai province has drastically improved administrative procedures, infrastructure, and transport networks, opening the door to support new investment enterprises.
A series of projects have been completed and put into operation under the plan. The Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway passing through Yen Bai was recently completed. In 2022, Yen Bai province will continue to upgrade key urban roads, synchronizing priority traffic routes that connect the city's infrastructure. The expansion of roads connects real estate projects with infrastructure both inside and outside the province.
In addition to promoting the improved transport system, the Government is exploring its options in the development of the Thac Ba Lake system in Yen Bai province. A 53,000-hectare national tourism area has been greenlighted at the site, with work beginning later in the year.
The project has been designated as a key tourist area in the northern midland and mountainous region built around the culture of the region and the ecology of Thac Ba lake. At the same time, various types of eco-tourism, conferences, seminars on history, culture, and sightseeing tours are to be developed around Thac Ba lake brand.
