Occupancy rate at Yen Bai’s industrial parks reaches 94.78 percent

YBO - Yen Bai is currently home to three industrial parks, covering total area of 627.89 hectares. They are the 400-ha southern industrial park, the 108-ha Minh Quan Industrial Park and the 120-ha Au Lau Industrial Park.

By the end of 2021, the northern mountainous province had lured 84 projects, including 73 domestic direct investment (DDI) and 11 foreign direct investment (FDI), with total registered investment exceeding 14.2 trillion VND. Together they cover nearly 456ha, occupancy rate reached 94.78 percent.

The province also has 12 industrial clusters, stretching across nearly 549ha, which have been developed with transport infrastructure, electricity and water supply at the cost of over 153.4 billion VND.

The industrial clusters have attracted 47 projects, worth over 2.65 trillion VND. Their occupancy reached 31.39 percent.
