Yen Bai City completes digital transformation indicators for 2024

YBO - According to the self-assessment results for the 2024 Digital Transformation Index, Yen Bai City achieved a total score of 909.5 out of 1,000 points based on the Digital Transformation Evaluation Index for provincial departments, agencies, districts, towns, and cities in Yen Bai Province.

The assessment includes six digital transformation indices and 38 components. Yen Bai City scored 200 out of 240 points for Management and Administration, 146 out of 150 points for Infrastructure and Equipment for Digital Transformation, 120 out of 120 points for Cybersecurity, 189.5 out of 190 points for Digital Government, 122 out of 150 points for Digital Economy, and 132 out of 150 points for Digital Society. 

These results meet the criteria specified in the Digital Transformation Evaluation Index, which was issued alongside Decision No. 1716/QĐ-UBND on August 23, 2024, by the People's Committee of Yen Bai Province. With this achievement, Yen Bai City successfully completed the digital transformation indicators for 2024.

The city prioritized resource allocation for investment, digital infrastructure development, and creating readiness to propel the growth of digital government, digital economy, and digital society. Additionally, it intensified communication efforts, selecting breakthrough initiatives that serve as foundations for rapid and sustainable digital transformation. These efforts aim to enhance the lives and production activities of residents and businesses, contributing to the overall economic and social development of the locality.

In 2025, Tran Yen District will continue to maintain and develop specialized raw material areas with key and specialty products linked to value chains. Specifically, the district aims to plant 100 hectares of new mulberry trees and improve 50 hectares, increasing the total mulberry-growing area to over 1,100 hectares, with silkworm cocoon production reaching 1,800 tons.
