To that end, the province's agriculture and rural development sector has carried out models of digital transformation hamlets, villages, and communes associated with the goal of the digital transformation programme in new-style rural area building.

The locality is focusing on replicating effective digital transformation enterprise and agricultural cooperative models; researching and disseminating digital platforms implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; and building an agricultural digital database to serve the development of the agricultural digital economy in Yen Bai.

Attention is paid to supporting the widespread implementation of smart traceability platforms in accordance with Vietnamese and international standards for agro-forestry and aquatic products to increase values and develop product markets; assisting agricultural production businesses, cooperatives, and households to boost digital transformation following an appropriate roadmap; and building and developing digital enterprise, cooperative, and household models.

In addition, Yen Bai is organising training courses and digital skill training for farmers through digital platforms, with priority given to skills of using and exploiting e-commerce platforms and electronic payments.
