In early October, the mobile library came to Hong Ca Primary and Secondary School No.1 in Tran Yen district, where more than 720 students are studying, delighting both teachers and students there.

Vu Bao Yen, a fourth-grade student, said that she was happy as the mobile library came with many interesting books and stories.

According to Vu Trinh, Principal of the school, the school has encouraged students to improve their reading ability by promoting reading in classes and at the library; however, the mobile library is a breath of fresh air that helps inspire and spark a passion for reading among students.

Thanks to the model, the students have an opportunity to read books in an open space and engage in many fascinating games.

The bookmobiles have come to mountainous and remote areas in Yen Bai province, making it easier for locals to get access to various kinds of books, including those in politics, society, laws, agriculture, healthcare and literature.

Director of Yen Bai Library Dong Thi Hong Hanh said that suitable books and newspaper have been chosen to serve demand of local people, adding computers and many other devices on the bookmobiles have been well preserved to bring the best experience to readers.

In the last three months of this year, the library will organise 30 bookmobiles to schools and communes in remote areas, she added./.
