Yen Bai connects with national database on officials, civil servants, public employees

YBO - After 3 years of operating and using the software to manage officials, civil servants and public employees, Yen Bai has completed the database on officials, civil servants and public employees at all levels from communal to provincial levels with 26,007 electronic records.

However, the integration and synchronisation of Yen Bai's database with the national database still faces many difficulties. Therefore, the provincial Department of Home Affairs has coordinated with the Department of Information and Communications, VNPT Yen Bai to convert to software supported by VNPT Yen Bai to fully meet technical and data standards to ensure concerted connection with the national database.

Tran Xuan Khuong, Director of VNPT Yen Bai’s Information Technology Centre, said that after being upgraded, the province's employee management software will allow each individual employee to actively update his/her records anytime, anywhere and take responsibility for the accuracy of their records. VNPT will cooperates with the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Information and Communications to meet the schedule assigned by the provincial People's Committee to synchronise data with the national database.

In order for officials, civil servants and public employees to master the skill of updating 109 information fields in the database management software, the Department of Home Affairs has coordinated with VNPT Yen Bai to organise training courses on the use of the pilot software system of VNPT for local employees.

Do DucCanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, affirmed that the operation of the national database will contribute to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the management of officials, civil servants and public employees in State agencies, thus contributing to building a service-oriented, modern, professional, and effective administration.
