RoK’s Pusan National University Hospital provides consultation service for Yen Bai General Hospita

YênBái - A delegation of the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Pusan National University Hospital has given consultations on medical equipment management and repair for the General Hospital of Yen Bai province, the third time so far.

At the working session, the delegation evaluated the operation of the hospital's Section of Medical Supplies and Equipment, gave recommendations on its management strategy to enhance the hospital’s competitiveness, and helped with the repair and training of its staff.
In 2012, the hospital received funding from RoK’s official development assistance for the construction of new facilities with 500 beds. It has also been supplied with medical equipment from other sources including the satellite hospital project, the Norred Project, European Union and local budget.
The hospital is managing and using 5,200 medical machines and devices, including 2,000 devices worth over 10 million VND (403 USD) each.
Medical equipment has been managed by QR Code with full information and inspected in accordance with approved regulations.
