YênBái - Tran Huy Tuan, Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, recently met with Duong Thinh Xuan, Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and his delegation to explore investment opportunities in Yen Bai Province.

During the meeting, Secretary Tran Huy Tuan expressed his joy and enthusiasm upon welcoming the delegation from the Asia-Pacific Chamber of Commerce and Industry to Yen Bai to explore investment prospects.

Introducing the province’s geographic location and potential advantages, Secretary Tran Huy Tuan highlighted that Yen Bai is well-positioned to develop agriculture, forestry, and mineral industries, with a focus on raw material production such as forest planting and paper, wood chip, and plywood processing; the cultivation and processing of cinnamon, tea, and coffee; cassava and fruit farming; as well as aquaculture and seafood processing. With abundant mineral resources, the province is also well-equipped to exploit and process minerals such as gemstones, kaolin, feldspar, calcium carbonate powder, iron, and produce construction materials including cement, bricks, technical ceramics, porcelain, marble tiles, and other construction materials.


Tran Huy Tuan, Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, presented Duong Thinh Xuan, Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with a photo book titled "Land and People of Yen Bai" during their meeting to explore investment cooperation opportunities in Yen Bai Province.

Secretary Tran Huy Tuan emphasized that Yen Bai is always ready to welcome and create favorable conditions for attracting investors. However, the province will carefully select investors, focusing on sustainable and well-researched projects that align with the province's potential, strengths, and strategic direction. He assured that the province would provide policies and mechanisms that offer the best possible conditions for businesses in the alliance to carry out investment projects locally.

Mr. Duong Thinh Xuan, Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Chamber of Commerce and Industry, thanked Secretary Tran Huy Tuan for the warm welcome and expressed that the insights shared by the Secretary would reassure businesses in the alliance when conducting surveys, exploring, and deciding to invest in various sectors in Yen Bai Province.
